The Fusion Metadata Registry (FMR) is an SDMX 3.0 compliant structural metadata registry with an extensive set of features. This module is a collection of tips to highlight some of these capabilities and practical ideas on how to use the tool to accomplish your structural metadata maintenance tasks in an efficient manner.

In this module, you will learn to:

  • Update codelists and other artefacts with MS Excel.
  • Take ownership and change artefacts from another agency.
  • Verify the integrity of an SDMX dataflow.
  • Update FMR to the latest version.
  • Install FMR on any port.
  • Synchronise content between SDMX registries.

Prerequisites

Learners should have a good understanding of SDMX and FMR, possibly from having completed introductory courses on these subjects.
